Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director who is most well-known as the main character of Birdman. He is a versatile actor who has the ability to perform both comic and dramatic characters. In his career, he has performed a range of romantic roles and also appeared in action thrillers. As a teenager the actor began developing an interest in acting as well as performing. Later, as young, he began to try stand-up comedy. He had a failed comedy career but this paved the way for his career as an actor. As he was not able to become an actor, he decided to be a TV cameraman. While working at the station, it was when he realized the way he wanted to work was in front of the camera. He was then offered a television role, appearing in a number of episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor, and quickly became a household name on the television. In his early film careers his aspirations were high and gained acclaim for his comic role. In Tim Burton's Batman He played the role of Batman's superhero name. In time he grew up in the field of acting and then began working in productions and directed films. The 2014 Birdman film won him a number of nominations and awards.
